Are you feeling stuck in your healing practice or wondering if leveling up your skills is your next step? What if I told you that further education for your skills can actually protect your energy, benefit your clients more deeply, and even give you the perfect language to market yourself authentically? Just last week I was talking with a healer who said she felt like she was hitting a wall in her practice. Maybe you can relate to this feeling. You're doing good work, but something feels like it's missing the mark, but you're not sure what. Stay tuned to hear about how to decide when to uplevel your skills and how you can expand without feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from your purpose. Welcome to Helping Healers Succeed. This is for you if you've felt the call to heal, to make a real difference in people's lives, but you also know that turning your gift into a thriving, sustainable career can feel overwhelming. You're listening to Dr. Anastasia Chopelas, a physicist turned energy healer, your guide with tips, stories, and interviews for building and growing a successful healing practice, with confidence and ease using practical strategies, science based insights and inspiration to help you increase your impact and income without burning out. Welcome back. First, let's address the elephant in the room. Some people might tell you that if you're truly gifted, you don't need more training. Well, I'm here to tell you that even though you probably have enough skill to make a difference, you can still benefit from additional training. For example, even the most talented musicians in the world still practice and learn new techniques. Why? Because mastery is a journey and not a destination. When I first started my practice, I was confronted by new challenges daily. For example, Maria came to me having experienced a stroke. Secondarily, she said she hasn't been able to sleep without sleep aids for the last 28 years. My training and healing allowed me to create a new protocol for helping people sleep that could help her. I tried this new sleep process on Maria. She slept well the first night and then for months after that without sleep aids. I then tried this on other sleep deprived clients and it worked so well that I included it in my courses on healing. The investment I made in my learning advanced healing techniques along with being able to create new protocols was completely worthwhile. Especially using my knowledge of chemistry, physics, and biology to add something extra to the process. And here's a bonus that many people don't talk about. Staying in the learning mindset keeps you humble and open to the universe's wisdom. When you're constantly learning, you're constantly growing, and that energy attracts clients who are serious about their healing journey. So let's talk more about why continuing education matters. It's important to grow your skills. Continuing education keeps you relevant, helps you deepen your impact, and it even protects your energy. A lot of practitioners must have continuing education, not so with energy healers, but when you have the right tools, you can work smarter, not harder, and you'll attract clients who truly value what you offer. It's not about doing more, it's about doing better. And here's a bonus, staying in the conversation of learning and growth isn't just about skills, it's about connection. When you associate with other like minded people in a community. You stay engaged, enthusiastic, and even happier. A lot of people don't understand the work we do, but speaking with other kind, helpful, and healing souls can be incredibly uplifting in itself. In addition, studies corroborate this. They show that continuing education in healing and health care significantly improves benefits to the patients. Added educational meetings refreshes healers with top recommended practices. They stay at the cutting edge of their field, bringing more value to their sessions, and staying energized in their work. Which learning opportunities should you choose? Not all education is created equal. The key is to align new opportunities with your core values and practice. Ask yourself, does this training help me serve my clients better? One way to check is to see where your healing protocols aren't lasting long or working. I always suggest follow up sessions for about 90 days to my clients, after the initial healing. It takes a minimum of 90 days for new energetic pathways to seat themselves, much like retraining yourself or new habits. Will it protect my energy and give me tools to stay balanced? If you are feeling tired and drained after meeting with clients, you need to learn energetic protection, if you can't see more than three or four clients in a day. Another question is, does it fit with the kind of healer I want to become? If you like working on specific issues like clearing anxiety, helping migraines, or helping people sleep better, will additional training help you improve those outcomes? Do you like working in person? Hands on, over the phone, Zoom, or remotely. Choose continuing education that will satisfy your needs. Research certifications, programs, or workshops that match your goals. Don't just follow trends, follow your intuition and your needs. Remember, your potential clients are less interested in your certifications than they are in your ability to improve the outcome for the relief they're looking for. Focus on outcomes and results rather than your certifications or letters after your name. For example, Angela was looking for a way to help her clients physical healing in addition to the emotional and spiritual healing she really excelled at. She learned some of the healing protocols for physical healing in my program. She was able to help one of her clients shrink their stage 3 cancer tumors by 75 percent in three weeks. She could then help her clients in a more profound way and was much more confident in her new skills. She attracted new clients with these added skills. How do I integrate new skills smoothly? There's never a need to feel overwhelmed in your continuing education process. Start by adding new tools to your practice by taking small steps first. When you learn something new, try it out on friends, family, or trusted clients. Often the new techniques can produce rapid transformations. Once you've practiced a few times, you'll gain the confidence to use it. Like Angela, you'll be able to improve outcomes and help attract new clients while helping yourself maintain good energy balance. Integrate gradually so you have time to master each skill. Practice on yourself every day with both your energy hygiene and new healing skills. I find that when I do something like an eye healing or pain relief from an accident, I gain more confidence. Last week I was out walking and my foot hit a small pothole and I went down. It was quite painful and I got up, I did a healing on myself and I was able to continue the walk. I've also tried new things on my clients with great results and passed them on in my trainings. Importanti is to keep notes on how your new modalities impact your energy and your client's experience. Make sure you document everything. I keep detailed notes for each healing session with my clients. It's important because I can refer back to them and see the progress they've made and also report to them the kinds of progress they made. Learn one or two new processes at a time, practice them enough times that you are utterly comfortable and can do the process without thinking before moving on to the next process. I've done all the protocols thousands of times. The more you practice, the easier it becomes to expand what you can offer your clients. How about funding your professional growth? Here's the thing. Upleveling is an investment in yourself and your practice and it doesn't have to break the bank. Many of the healers I've come across don't seem to be able to save. Here are a few tips that might help. Create a learning budget. Set aside a percentage of your income specifically for growth. If you charge, let's say, 150 for a session, and I hope you do, at least, put aside 5 or 10 dollars each time. After 20 sessions, you've saved between 100 and 200 dollars for new training. This can buy you small courses. After half a year, you have enough for a major program. Look for scholarships or early bird pricing or even payment plans. Often when new courses are introduced, you have the advantage of early bird discounts and are offered live with the trainer. This has the advantage of being able to guide the content and ask questions directly to the source. They also get to know you, which can also help get you referrals. Don't forget to view the learning as an investment, not an expense that helps you generate more value and revenue in the long run. Think of it as planting seeds that will grow your practice and income exponentially over time. Consider being in a community with other healers. Holistic or energy healing is not fully accepted, particularly in conservative communities. Growth is easier when you're not alone. It helps to be supported by others who have the same challenges and have to deal with the same doubts expressed by others not familiar with energy healing. in addition, connecting with like minded people can reinvigorate your passion for healing. interaction can help you move forward with shared experiences and results. It ends up working as a mastermind of sorts where you share ideas for working with healing clients and you receive fresh ideas from other people. So what's next in your healing education? Your learning journey is personal and powerful. When you choose to uplevel strategically, you'll find new ways to protect your energy, serve your clients more deeply, and grow your practice authentically. And don't underestimate the joy and fulfillment that comes from connecting with other healing souls. A supportive community can reignite your enthusiasm. Remind you that you're not alone and lift your spirits while you lift others. Before we wrap up, I want to leave you with this thought. Every master healer started at the beginning. It might be where you are now. Every single one had moments of doubt, moments of wondering if they should invest in their growth, and moments of doubt whether they could actually do this. But those who took that step, who trusted their intuition and invested in their skills, they're the ones whose practices are thriving today. So what's one skill you've been curious to master? Take that first step today and watch your practice and your confidence grow.
